Wedding photography is a more visual medium than most, so it was extremely important that the aesthetic of the web site that I designed would match the shooting style of the photographer who commissioned me. The idea was to create a romantic ambience through the style and imagery used, encouraging those who clicked on the photographer’s site to fall in love and hire him for their special day.
For the logo, I incorporated an elegant handwriting font that I designed myself, which helped to personalise the site and make it more unique. Prospective clients want to hire photographers that they can trust to capture their special day on film, so it was important to convey his work as both romantic and natural at the same time, building up trust between the photographer and curious couples who wished to hire him.
