The main challenge was to balance serious political topics with a youthful and fun appeal, while creating an online space with two distinct purposes. This included quickly guiding users to the main call to action, alongside maintaining a resource hub that doesn’t distract the user’s main journey. The solution – subtle animations and colour accents, users were encouraged to submit ideas before delving into the resource section, always with the freedom to choose their preferred journey.
